T&Cs

All items described as original are just that. No two original products will be the same. This includes commissioned originals.

All original products, including commissions, are subject to copyright and the artist retains reproduction rights.

Prints are replicas of the artist's original works and still subject to copyright and replication rights. This includes prints on any media, including but not limited to canvas, T-shirts, cards, etc for example.

Commissions are welcome and any personal information or images collected from a customer in order to create a commissioned work will be kept safe and private in line with our privacy policy. All information and images will be kept until the conclusion of the purchase and then either returned or destroyed as preferred by the customer.

We do not tolerate the use or incitement of hurtful or abusive ideas or language and reserve the right to refuse service on these grounds, be it in our virtual or bricks and mortar store. Thank you for your understanding. If you feel, for any reason, that we have missed a step in anyway in relation to this, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Privacy - We take privacy very seriously. Our store provider, Big Cartel, has inbuilt encryption for the safe transmission of your data to us. No personal information will ever be given to a third party unless required by law and any personal information collected will be used only for the purpose specified. For example, if we take your details to email you about a purchase, we will then not send you advertising emails unless you specifically give us permission to do so. We will keep personal information for only so long as we are legally required to do so. For example, personal information collected for the purposes of a purchase will be kept for seven years as required by Australian law.

We use google analytics in our online store and anonymous site usage data may be collected from your visit, but you will not be able to be identified from this and this is purely for our own use. For more information on what google collects, how and why, please visit Google Analytics

We use Paypal for all purchases on our store and so do not collect any financial data from you. To see what information Paypal collects, how and why, please visit Paypal

If you make a purchase from us directly with our bricks and mortar store, over the phone for example, your financial data will be kept only so long as needed to make the purchase and then it will be destroyed. We do not keep customer’s financial data anywhere in any form for any longer than needed to make a purchase.

Returns, Refunds, Damages - Please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your product if you have any concerns with your purchase.

In most cases we will endeavour to work with you to arrange return and, depending on circumstances, a replacement, store credit or refund. Please be aware that should your return be due to a change of mind, all return shipping costs will be your responsibility.

We cannot accept the return of commissioned items as these are specifically made to order and would not be re-sellable. If you believe a commissioned item is not what you were promised, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your product.

If an item arrives damaged, please take as many photos as possible of the packaging, the item and the paperwork and contact us within 14 days. Please keep the packaging; having it to hand will help with any query the postal or courier service may have.

Shipping - OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA - we ship to almost everywhere world wide but cannot provide a standard price, especially as most of our items are unique. Please send us an email with all of your details and we can gain a quote for you. This takes time and effort though, so please specify if you're just curious and the quote will be rough. Once you have your heart set on a piece, we can get a more definite price for you. Shipping and Insurance costs, as well as any additional Taxes or Import costs, are the responsibility of the purchaser, as are any issues or costs arising from shipping. While we will take every care to ensure your piece reaches you intact, we use third party couriers and can make no guarantees. If you would like to arrange your own shipping, please let us know and we will do our best to work in with your courier of choice.

**Major shipping delays world wide. Please be aware and allow at least a week longer than normal. Please be aware this is completely out of our hands.**

WITHIN AUSTRALIA - Shipping prices listed on our website are created using the Australia Post website and include insurance to the value of the artwork as well as an extra cost for signature upon receipt. If you think your shipping charges should be less, please get in contact with us and we can arrange a specific quote for you. If you would like to arrange your own shipping, please let us know and we will do our best to work in with your courier of choice.

**Major postage delays Australia wide. Please be aware and allow at least double the normal timeframe. Please be aware this is completely out of our hands.**

GENERAL INFO - We package and ship on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Shipping costs for within Australia only are offered on our website. Please refer to the above section WITHIN AUSTRALIA to see how we calculate it. For anything else, such as shipping internationally or picking up from in store, please contact us.

For every purchase shipped we will contact you with tracking information.

In store pickup - is available. Please use the code INSTORE when prompted for a discount code at the time of purchase to nullify shipping costs, or contact us and we will arrange your purchase directly.

Shipping Blackout 23rd December 2021 to 8th February 2022 - Please be aware that our bricks and mortar store closes for January every year. This year we're closed from December 23rd to 8th February and will be unable to ship anything in that timeframe.

Taxes - We are subject to the GST and include the cost in all of our pricing. Should you require a quote listing the price of the product separate to the GST, please contact us directly. All of our invoices list the GST separately.

If you are purchasing from outside of Australia, please be aware that there may be other taxes placed on your purchase by your government and these will be your responsibility.

Originals - see T&Cs for rights info. There is only ever one of the products listed as original. If you want some very similar original pieces, please contact us via email and we will let you know if it's possible or not, thanks. All originals are stretched on a timber frame and ready to hang. They come with a certificate of authenticity and 3D glasses.

Certificate of Authenticity - all original paintings have a certificate of authenticity so that you know they are original Amanda Johnson paintings.

3D Glasses - due to the way Amanda paints and uses colour, her works are 3D with the right glasses. Once we found this out we started including a pair of 3D glasses with the purchase of any original work.

Prints - see T&Cs for rights info. There are multiple copies and sizes available for the prints, but we don't always have all of those in stock, or in stock in multiples. If they have to be made up we will let you know and it will add an extra week to your order for the production process. We get our prints made locally so there are rarely any delays, but we will let you know if any come up. On the flip side, it means you can get a huge array of sizes. If you would like a particular size not listed on our website, please get in touch with us by email. If you need something urgently and don't want to wait a week, get in touch with us before making your purchase and we'll let you know what we do and don't have in stock.

Commissions - see T&Cs for rights and privacy info. Commissions are welcome. Please contact us if you would like something painted in Amanda's unique style. Please be aware that a deposit of 25% of the total quoted price is required on any commission. Also bear in mind any postage costs involved in getting a commissioned work, and allow at least two months turn around time, depending on the amount of detail required and size of artwork.

Gift Wrapping - is available and FREE. Please check for the Notes section in the checkout process and let us know there what items in your order you would like wrapped. Also let us know if you want something in particular, such as blue or floral or Christmas. Alternatively, please send us an email before you make your purchase and we'll know to look out for it that way, thanks.

We can also send a personalised message with your package if you would like, again please use the notes section or contact us via email to let us know the details. Max 60 words please and thank you.
